These are replicas of actual coins recovered on sunken Spanish Galleons by divers in Florida. They are triple plated in 24 kt. gold. Great for collectors or for making into jewelry. The price is for 3 different coins, as shown in the photo. Here is their story.

This artifact is an exact reproduction of an artifact recovered from a Spanish Galleon that sank on the Florida reefs in 1733.
On July 13, 1733 a Spanish Treasure Armada, under the command of Don Rodrigo de Torres y Morales, consisting of four Galleons and sixteen Merchant Naos, left Havana heading northerly up the Straits of Florida, bound for Spain. The next day, the winds stiffened into a gale and by the following morning a hurricane struck the fleet. By the night of July 15, all but one of these proud ships were broken up upon the reefs of the Florida Keys.
In all, twenty million pesos in gold and silver and one hundred and fifty-three men were lost. There were several salvage expeditions in the following years, and approximately fourteen of the $20,000,000 in gold and silver were recovered. Sea worms and coral have since made the locations of these wrecks almost impossible to find. Recently, treasure divers working on the reefs were able to locate the remains of a few of these sunken Galleons.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of these may be clear coated. This protects the gold plating.
